LOS ANGELES, CA — 09/29/09 — LeadPoint (http://www.leadpoint.com), the world’s first and largest online lead exchange, today announced that Raj Parekh has joined the company as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In this role Parekh, who has over 10 years of business development experience with customers and vendors, will be responsible for growing LeadPoint’s top accounts within its data and voice lead products and evangelizing the value and efficiency of purchasing leads through LeadPoint’s exchange.

A lead generation industry veteran, Parekh founded LeadROI in 2004 to address the inefficiencies of managing, tracking, marketing to, and analyzing lead conversions within the financial services market. Prior to LeadROI, Parekh served as Director of Wireless Business Development at Go2 Systems, Inc., where he led negotiations with wireless content providers, Internet portals, and wireless application service providers. Additionally, Parekh has worked at Sprint PCS in business development, leading strategic content partnership negotiations.

The original founder of Lead Management Software provider LeadROI is said to have put in his resignation. Raj Parekh, General Manager of LeadROI, which was established in 2002 and that went through two acquisitions, Root Markets and more recently MediaWhiz, has chosen to exit the stale LMS division at MediaWhiz.

Parekh, a passionate advocate for lead management, technology and innovation will be moving on to explore new opportunities and the ability to push the level of innovation in the lead generation industry. I personally had the pleasure of working with Raj as well has joining with him on a number of lead management panels and he clearly has ideas that could be very exciting to watch out for. My guess is that he was fed up with the lack of development in the product and simply said enough is enough, but who really know, its just my guess. I am sure he will move on to a situation that needs an innovative thought leader that is ready to grow or begin development on a new product or service.

We will simply have to wait and see.
