Let’s end the week on a humorous note. This article was brought to my attention by an industry friend and you may in fact have already come across it too, but if you hadn’t here it is. It concerns a lawsuit against a mortgage brokerage company called HTFC where the company was being sued for improperly selling loans.

Q: This is your loan file. What do Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald do for a living?
A: I don’t know. Open it up and find it.
Q: Look at your loan file and tell me.
A: Open it up and find it. I’m not your fucking bitch.
Q: Take a look at your loan application.
A: Do it yourself. Do it yourself. You want to do this in front of a judge. Would you prefer to [do] this in front of a judge? Then, shut the fuck up.
Q: Sir, take a look–
A: I’m taking a break. Fuck him. You open up the document. You want me to look at something, you get the document out. Earn your fucking money, asshole. Better get used to it. You’ll retire when I’m done.
HA! Take that!

I interviewed this guy a few days ago….. he is quite a character….to say the least. Still not sure if writing yet another piece on this is justified, although I got some great quotes including a message for the judge that fined him…..one guess: it’s two words and isn’t anything nice.
I’ve spoken with Aaron many times over the phone but have not met in person. He does drop the F-bomb quite a bit but over time I found him to have a MUCH larger heart than you would ever belief possible reading the above or perhaps meeting him for the first time.
I certainly do not approve of the language, but he was, at least for me, an odd lesson in not judging a book by the cover.
