This popped up in my Alerts the other day and it came unannounced. What is it? It is the listing of LeadPoint as one of Attenunit investments. Anttenunit is a VC firm located in Austin Texas, however the domain name was registered by one of the founders who is located in Santa Barbara, CA. Which according to LeadPoints founder’s Linkedin profile is the same location of where he lives. Anttenunit helping out an old friend in need? Maybe this is simply a coincidence.

I am not sure when this happened or how large the amount of funds were infused into LeadPoints bank roll, but it did happen recently. The fact that there was no press release about the investment leads me to believe (call me Sherlock Holmes on this one) that they did not want anyone to know about it. Shocking I know.

It isn’t shocking that they received funding, to be honest. It seems as though a number of lead industry companies have received funding. It is not surprising that these companies are raising funds to either enter into other verticals or hold them over until the industry improves.

I reported on a comment made on a Good Morning America piece on Marc Diana a few months ago. If this is any sign, I would guess there maybe another 6 months of working on the weekends to come.
