Interesting post on Craigslist today:
Have $1,800 worth of LeadPoint leads left, will sell at big discount (Nationwide)
I have $1,800 worth of LeadPoint funds left, will sell at big discount because I am not doing any mortgage brokerage and they are not refunding me since it’s part of my initial deposit. If you are interested, I will create account for you so that you can purchase leads from there yourself. For those of you who are not familiar with LeadPoint, it’s a place where sellers and buyers of leads work together, you can choose what you are looking for (location, loan size, age of a lead, etc.), choose your price and buy leads.

Maybe worth picking up some extra leads at a discount.

He/she should have stuck with the bidding marketplace theme of LeadPoint and posted on eBay instead.

Ha, your absolutely right Mike.

The post on Craigslist is inaccurate. LeadPoint does refund deposits made by buyers.
Upon request, we return unspent monies less a small processing fee. It would never be in the interest of this individual to transfer his/her deposit to another company at a “big discount.”
On our blog at http://tiny.cc/zv5VZ I provide clarification on LeadPoint’s payment policies and benefits of our exchange.

Hi..
I agree with one of the other commenters in that LeadPoint will give a partial refund for unused funds. In fact, I used their company in the past and when I asked for a refund (I wasn’t quite satisfied with the quality of leads I was getting), I got one within a few days.
So I would recommend that the person just contact LeadPoint’s helpdesk and get most f their money back that.
Best regards,
John Stanley
