According the rumors spreading on Implode-O-Meter Quicken Loans laid off a large number of people last week and tried to keep it under raps.

I have not confirmed if this is true or just rumor. My hunch is that it is only a rumor. Here is what is being said:

a little birdy told me that Quicken let go of 1200 people last week .. they were all forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement can anyone confirm this ?

Again, I can’t confirm this and I think it is probably a rumor only because I would have been tipped off to this type of news directly and I wasn’t. If it is true, the threatening to withholding a severance package for speaking about a layoff is very interesting.
