What’s in it for Shanker and why did he go to LeadPoint. Well, I don’t know for a fact, but I would speculate that they brought him on board to whip the sales team in shape and generate sales prior to the speculated liquidation. Also on the note of liquidations, LeadPoint VP of Operations, Donny Hall is rumored to have said he wouldn’t be cutting his hair until there was a liquidation. The normally tight cropped hair do is said to be sporting a longer than normal hairdo and  he may have a few more months to go, especially if we are basing it off of Marc Diana’s comments on Good Morning America. In my experience that has been a guaranteed devaluation strategy. You have to run a sustainable, ongoing concern to maximize value. I think it would also be ashame to lose an innovative concept so early. I think an acquisition would smother the lead exchange concept. We shall see I suppose.
