Layoffs are getting less and less shocking these days, because of their high frequency, however its unfortunate news every time they happen, no matter what company is being forced to make them or who they may involve. The benefit from a layoff is an obvious one, the company usually receives overhead relief very quickly, but never has a company looked forward to a layoff or plans for one. Its similar to that saying your parents used to tell to you prior to giving you a whooping. “This is going to hurt me more then it hurts you”. lol, funny statement, but it is true. Layoffs are many times equally or more painful for the employer then the employee. Especially for many companies that are has close as family.
I also find it it important to tell you about my layoff, because I feel its only fair to the numerous companies that had Layoff announcements posted here as well. This time it has hit home.
I wish only the best to my past employer and immediate success in every endeavor it participates in. There success will be ongoing and they will continue to push on through these difficult economic times.
For me, the next page begins. My work in the lead generation industry will continue on and in my opinion has only just began, and that is exciting! If you are interested in receiving a resume or discussing employment opportunities feel free to reach me through the contact form.
Thanks everyone for the support!
