Lending Tree has too much business.

Recently I have been attracted to the idea of paying for leads on the back end. Let me clarify, for some of you who are not familiar with Lending Tree. Lending Tree, “When banks compete, you win” or something like that, has a system where you pay a small fee for the lead when you first receive the lead and then pay a larger fee when that lead turns into a funded loan. Now the price points are attractive and the type of consumers they attract are impressive. In fact, they just announced recently that they will be a key sponsor for the PGA Tour. Now this is a great demographic to target and I am positive that this will reflect in the quality of leads they generate.
The problem is that they don’t want my money for some reason. It took me two weeks for anybody to return my initial phone call and then when they did they tried to push me off onto their Get Smart product, which I already buy. I do know they may have volume issues, but come on. I’m practically throwing my money at you and begging you to take it.
As of today, it has been over a week since I spoke with the rep over at Lending Tree. I did however,  have an email conversation that took me two duplicate messages to send before I received a response .

I will keep you posted.
