Hello everyone!
I just wanted to briefly welcome you to the site. I will be taking over where Morinsight has left off. I am very excited and have many things I would to discuss and receive feedback on. I will also keep the subject manner in-line to what Morinsight has laid out, but may throw in few new topics. I will speak openly about issues concerning lead providers, good and bad, mortgage lead industry news and tips on how to generate your own leads through Internet marketing.
This transfer has taken place fairly quickly so please give me a day to settle in and then I will be off too the races!
Thank you for your patience.

Let’s hope the candid conversations based on real life experiences continue.

I hope you will publish some info on this company. Target Publishers They are completly bogus. I talked to them on 5/24 and was promised there would be exclusive 35.00 lead. I them sent a telecheck on 5/28…a huge mistake. I was supposed to sart receiving leads on 6/1. On 6/4 I still had not received any leads I then contacted them and they promised I would receive on 6/5. I received 10 Hawaii leads on 6/5. After making contact with 5 of them I realized these are not just bad leads, I’m talking customers that have no idea what you are talking about. Every customer I have talked to had not inquired about a mortgage in over 2 months. This lesson has cost me a nice sum of lead cash, please dont make the same mistake. Email me for any additional info.

That is why resources like this are important to the lead buying process. Another good resource is the Better Business Bureau–who doesn’t have good things to say about them either: http://data.renobbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=6011044
Or a Google Search usually gives a good profile of the company’s practices: http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=24657
My suggestion is to continue to vet lead providers through this blog’s forum. The combined group here has bought from and probably personally knows the people behind all of the reputable providers.

$35 exclusive leads would tend to fall into the “too good to be true” bucket in my mind regardless of promises made by almost any company, unless you could understand why they were being priced way below market.

Ditto John D. Pricing is not the end all determiner of how I proceed but someone pricing a lead well below what I expect leads to cost does put me aware.
