Lebda Appointed CEO and Chairman of Financial Service and Real Estate for IAC

Today, Jan 7th 2008 IAC named Doug Lebda the new CEO and Chairman of the Financial Service and Real Estate division of IAC. This division is comprised of the company Mr. Lebda founded in 1996, LendingTree and it also includes HomeLoanCenter, GetSmart, RealEstate.com, Domania and iNest.
According to IAC, C.D. Davies and Brett Violette will report to Mr. Lebda and will continue in their current roles with their respective web properties.
“Doug Lebda is a true entrepreneur. As President and COO of IAC he helped streamline a uniquely complex conglomerate, deepening our talent pool, and successfully managing our various businesses,” said Barry Diller, IAC Chairman and CEO. “With Doug leading the financial services and real estate businesses I am absolutely sure they will grow and prosper. He’s a superb executive and can only do better than well in anything he takes responsibility for.”
Lebda led his company through 5 acquisitions, an IPO and grew LendingTree to over $300 million in revenue. More recently he has been the President and COO of IAC which totals more than 60 brands and 20, 000 employees.
This comes on the heals of the separation of IAC into 5 different publicly traded companies.
