There has been a lot of discussion lately concerning Google’s supplemental index. I specifically have been concerned with these results because of all the content that we write for our websites. Randfish wrote an excellent article about duplicate content and how Google processes the information here . There are a couple of other really good posts about the supplemental index and how to get out of it here and here (Both of these posts were written by Aaron Wall at the SEObook). In a time where content is king and has so much value in the SE algorithms, it looks as though Google is cracking down on duplicate content in hopes of creating a more relevant search result.
