Let’s end the week on a humorous note. This article was brought to my attention by an industry friend and you may in fact have already come across it too, but if you hadn’t here it is. It concerns a lawsuit against a mortgage brokerage company called HTFC where the company was being sued for improperly selling loans.

Can some tell me what all this crap is? I have come across it a number of times and just passed it off as spam, network marketing BS. Is it though? What is this mlm leads crap all over YouTube? You got love the title to the YouTube video too. “The Pursuit of Happiness FREE MLM LEADS”. Oh, yes the pursuit of happiness and once you have received Free MLM leads, you have really completed your pursuit. lol Does anyone have any experience with the company?
This one is classic too . Good speaker, but WTF? Check the page out, it is completely stuffed with keywords and spam. Has anyone heard of CashOMat? It seems to be another MLM type of lead company, not sure though.
I was just curious if any of the readers have had a direct experience with either of these two guys or companies.

I am going to start capping the week off with a few post that I found interesting. They may or may not have anything to do with mortgage leads or real estate, specifically, but I think they may all be applicable to everyone.
Have good weekend everyone and GO CHARGERS!

In the past few weeks we have seen a few websites that have stepped out of the industry norm, SmartHippo and Mortgage Marvel. These sites have taken the long thought out approach of improving the consumers experience and spent many days and months developing their ideas.
I recently came across two more websites that look to make imprints on our industry. The original concepts and unique uses of brand marketing really set these two websites apart from any other in the industry. It will be very interesting to watch the further development and success of these two sites.
With out further a due I give the future of the industry:
What do think?

Okay, so as you know the forum is down, is not active and I lost all the GREAT info and discussion that was in the forum. Now, I was planning on bringing the forum back because I think it was a great place for lead buyers to discuss the issues of the day, however I am wondering what you all think. Should I bring back the forum?
I would like to get your view on this so I created a little poll. What ever the outcome of the poll is will be the deciding factor if I bring back the forum or not.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.Posted in UncategorizedComments (0)

Hi, I would like to introduce myself as Silence Dogood! Yes, I am obviously the namesake of the slightly prudish widow of Poor Richard’s Almanac. I felt obligated, having observed this market for numerous years, to wade in where there lacked a fair representation of the fairer (and notably smarter) sex and an advocate for the poor and downtrodden Internet consumer.
Enough introduction. You will grow to know, love, and perhaps even fear my pen a bit in the coming months. Therefore, I think it is only fair to warn those who will come under my wrath and those who will receive my fair praise…This is my mantra:
“I am a mortal enemy to arbitrary consumer thrashing and unlimited power to lead providers”
And since a proper lady does not herself wade into the muck and mire of Internet consumer lead “gin” feel free to reveal those who deserve the mighty pen: telldogood [at] gmail

I just received this from a friend and thought I would pass on the important news:
Very Important- Guideline Changes Effective August 8, 2007
· All borrowers must have one blue eye and one brown eye to qualify.
· LTV > 65% SIVA requires minimum credit score of 849.
· For all LTV > 65%, 360 months of payment reserves now required.
· Borrower’s must have no previous bankruptcies in their family history going back
three generations.
· A minimum of 25 years self-employment history now required for all NIV Programs
(at same location).
· Minimum Credit Score for Subprime Loans raised to 720.
· All non-arm’s length transaction borrowers (mortgage, real estate professionals,
family members) will be required to provide full-documentation, subject to

Please note that these changes will go into effect within the next five minutes. So please

We apologize for the inconvenience. We realize these are tough times in the mortgage

Without getting too political on this blog, if our current international diplomacy doesn’t encourage you to vote for the democratic party maybe this video will.
