Jeff, you are correct I am a very big fan of the pull methodology and we have discussed the advantages in the past via our blogs and respective comments.

As for flexibility, you are also correct it is important to have those options based on your individual business objectives. That is why we too offer both options. Our push system is managed through our automated workflow engine that allows for clients to set up very complex lead (push) allocations to teams, individuals, special channels, etc.

It is good to have innovation and competition to continue to improve this space that is so critical to sales production and customer experiences.

Sadly we had to figure out pull distribution on our own and from input from our clients as we've had very little visibility into icosales. I know Bill has always "pushed the pull", but as I've indicated in the past, there are many ways to skin a cat. Giving our customers the flexibility to do push, pull, or a infinite combination of both is the way to go. Time will tell. Kudos to you guys for getting the scoop before we even did a press release.

I received the information from a Leads360 employee. He stated that it was implemented into the system last week. On what level of implementation I am not sure. I can't wait to see it though. I think it will be a good additition to their platform, if they do right, as you said.

This is very interesting. I suppose imitation is flattery. Hopefully they get it right for the sake of their clients. My initial designs go back to 2001--so it is not at easy as you might think--a lot of hidden complexity.

Morinsight, my question is where did you hear this? I can find anything official from Leads360 on the news. Did you get a scoop or are they keeping it subtle?
